Spicy Eggs and Cheese on Sourdough

Title: Spicy Eggs and Cheese on Sourdough

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • 2 tablespoons Tams,red hot (Umami Oil )
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add chilli oil and swirl to coat the pan.
  2. Crack the eggs into the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook the eggs to your desired doneness.
  3. Toast the sourdough bread.
  4. Spread the marinara sauce on one slice of toast, and shredded cheese on the other slice.
  5. Once the eggs are cooked, place them on top of the marinara toast.
  6. Carefully place the shredded cheese toast on top of the eggs.
  7. Put the sandwich in the skillet, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the cheese is melted.
  8. Slice in half and enjoy!

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 2

Optional:

  • you can add diced bacon or ham for extra flavor.
  • you can add extra cheese, green onions or jalapenos on top before putting the sandwich in skillet
  • you can also use any other bread of your choice instead of sourdough.
